Pertumbuhan Dan Hasil Padi Gogo (Oryza Sativa L.) Pada Medium Podsolik Yang Diaplikasi Zeolit Sekam Padi Dan Dolomit
ABSTRACT
Utilization of rice husk zeolite and dolomite (source of Ca and Mg) for the development of upland rice in dry land was one of the potentials to increase rice production. The aim of the study was to increase the growth and yield of upland rice (Oryza sativa L.) on podzolic medium which was applied to rice husk zeolite and dolomite. The research was conducted from June to October at the Laboratory of Soil and Greenhouse Science, Faculty of Agriculture, Riau University. The method used is a 3
3 factorial with a completely randomized design (CRD). The first factor was the application of rice husk zeolite which consisted of 3 levels (0, 200 and 400 kg.ha-1) and the second factor was the application of dolomite which consisted of 3 levels (0, 250 and 500 kg.ha-1), respectively Each combination was repeated three times. The results showed that the administration of rice husk zeolite at a dose of 400 kg.ha-1 and dolomite at a dose of 500 kg.ha-1 significantly accelerated panicle exit and harvest compared to other combinations. Administration of rice husk zeolite at a dose of 400 kg.ha-1 and dolomite at a dose of 500 kg.ha-1 increased the number of productive tillers, the number of rice husks per panicle and the weight of dry milled grain per clump respectively by 46.67%, 29.46% and 22.6% compared to without rice husk zeolite and dolomite.
