Surgical action as a definitive treatment in the treatment of Hirschsprung patients can be carried out in one stage and in multiple stages. In the process of wound healing after surgery, inflammatory mediators are involved as a marker of whether there is a stress response from the endocrine system. Physiological stress due to certain disorders or diseases can be described through the Neutrophil Lymphocyte Ratio (NLR). As a determinant of the severity of the inflammatory response that occurs, it can be seen from an increase in neutrophils and a decrease in lymphocyte levels in the blood. The purpose of this study is to describe the results of the NLR examination as a biomarker of inflammatory response in one-stage and multi-stage surgeries for Hirschsprung disease patients at RSUD Arifin Achmad in 2020-2022. The design of this study was cross sectional using medical records with a total sample of 36 people. The results of this study showed that the most samples were in the category > 1 year (50%), male (72.2%), the most types of operations were multi-stage (52.8%). The highest NLR was found in the age group > 1 year. NLR in one-stage operating technique is found (6.74), and NLR in multi-stage operating techniques (6.41).
