Hubungan Pelaksanaan Praktikum Kimia Terhadap Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik
Chemistry practicum is a learning process where students do and experience
themselves starting from following the process, observing objects, analyzing,
proving and drawing conclusions on objects, conditions and processes of the
chemical material studied, so that the implementation of practicum is expected to
improve student learning outcomes. The chemistry laboratory is certainly a
facility needed in the implementation of chemistry practicum and must be utilized
properly. This study aims to determine the level of students' perceptions of the
implementation of chemistry practicum and its relationship to learning outcomes.
The type of research is descriptive correlational research with a quantitative
survey approach which means not giving treatment or changing the sample, but
describing a condition as it is to be analyzed. The research sample was XII
science class students of SMA se-Bangkinang Kota which amounted to 138
people. Data collection methods by filling out questionnaires, documentation, and
interviews which are then analyzed with descriptive techniques and correlation
tests. The results obtained by the level of students' perceptions of practicum
implementation of 65.55% are in the medium category, and there is a significant
relationship that is quite strong between the implementation of chemistry
practicum and student learning outcomes seen from the sig value. 0.006>0.05, tcount
0.431>t-table 0.1672, and the t-count value is in the range of 0.040-0.599,
which is quite strong in the correlation interpretation table correlation.
