ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the level of participation of forestry police partner communities in forest protection and security as well as to determine the factors that influence the participation of forestry police partner communities in forest protection and security efforts in Bukit Tiga Puluh National Park. The research was conducted at Siambul Resort, Talang Lakat Resort, Lahai Resort and Keritang Resort in Bukit Tiga Puluh National Park. The method used in this research are census techniques and purposive sampling. The result of this study indicate that the level of participation of forestry police partner communities in forest protection and security is significant with a value of 76%. Factors that influence the level of participation of forestry police partner communities in forest prtotection and security are age, gender, level of education and livelihoods.
