Analisis Kecukupan Ruang Terbuka Hijau (Rth) Di Kota Dumai
ABSTRACT
Green Open Space (RTH) is an elongated area/lane and/or group with a more open use, a place for plants to grow, both those that grow naturally and those that are intentionally planted. The minimum open space for urban areas is 30% of the total area. Dumai City is an industrial city which has an area of 206,673.36 hectares. Over time, economic growth and an increasing population have caused the area of green open space in Dumai City to decrease. This study aims to analyze the adequacy of Dumai City's green open space based on the criteria of ATR/BPN Ministerial Regulation Number 14 of 2022. To see the condition of green open space can be done by remote sensing and the data used is Landsat 8 OLI imagery recorded on 08-02-2021. The research flow consists of pre-processing, namely atmospheric correction, band merging and image cropping, then field observations (ground checks) are carried out as many as 216 points. The results of the study show that green open space in Dumai City is still 81,578.70 hectares or 39.566% of the total area of the city. Thus the area of green open space in Dumai City is still sufficient for a minimum of 30% based on Ministerial Regulation ATR/BPN Number 14 of 2022. The largest type of green open space is the type of mangrove forest land cover, which is 37,544.5 hectares or (18.25%).
