ABSTRACT
The design of an IoT-based electrical equipment monitoring tool using a smartphone is made in order to facilitate the use of monitoring and managing the use of electrical energy via the internet network. This electricity monitoring tool is equipped with NodeMCU ESP8266 as a microcontroller that processes data from the PZEM-004T module and sends data to the Blynk IoT server via WiFi. The PZEM-004T module can read data on quantities such as voltage, current, power and energy. Data that has been sent to the Blynk server can be viewed on the Blynk IoT application on the user's smartphone. Based on the test results of the monitored data tools, the error percentage was 2.52% for voltage measurements, 3.06% for current measurements, 1.40% for power measurements, and 4.46% for energy measurements.
