Rancang Bangun Sistem Monitoring Kebocoran Gas Lpg Menggunakan Smartphone Android Berbasis Telegram

ABSTRACT
There is a lot of LPG needed at the moment, such as being used for kitchen purposes. However, due to the frequent occurrence of fires and poisoning caused by gas leaks, this condition is very frightening for the community. Based on this problem, researchers propose an LPG gas leak monitoring system tool based on the Telegram application. . The proposed tool is composed of an MQ-5 Sensor, Buzzer and LCD. The results of sensor readings on the Android smartphone were obtained through NodeMCU which successfully sent a signal to the Telegram application. Tool testing in this study was carried out on LPG gas located in residents' houses on Jl. Labersa cafavilla housing No.a19, Pekanbaru Riau within 7 days. The test method is carried out for 24 hours. Based on the results of the readings obtained via notifications on Telegram, it was found that only one sensor detected LPG gas levels during the 7 days of testing. This shows that the proposed tool effectively operates properly and has succeeded in increasing efficiency in monitoring LPG gas leaks.
