Rancang Bangun Radio Frequency Amplifier 9,3 Ghz Untuk Coastal Radar
ABSTRACT
This research designs and builds an RF amplifier with a frequency of 9.3 GHz for use in portable coastal radars which are used as a tool to monitor sea areas. This research designs and builds an RF amplifier that works at a frequency of 9.3 GHz using a stub matching technique as an impedance matcher. In this design, the RT/Duroid 5880 substrate is used with a dielectric constant of 2.2. While the active component used is MGF2407A. The DC bias configuration used is fixed bias. The simulation shows that the designed RF Amplifier has a gain level of 10.318 dB, VSWRin and VSWRout are 1.103 and 1.076 respectively, S11 and S22 are -26 dB and -28 dB respectively, and the compression point of P1dB is at 11 dBm. The results of manufacturing measurements show that S11 and S22 are -17 dB and -13 dB, respectively. The resulting gain is -51 dB.
