Rancang Bangun Single Stub Matching Low Noise Amplifier Frekuensi 9,3 Ghz Pada Portable Coastal Radar
In this study, a low noise amplifier was designed with a frequency of 9.3 GHz on a
portable coaster radar. The method used is cascading technique. The low noise
multistage amplifier design uses a single stub matching technique for operation in
the X-band range. In the simulation, rogers 5880 substrate material is used. The
designed low noise amplifier has a gain specification of ≥ 30 dB and a noise
figure of ≤ 3.5 dB. The active component used is the Field Effect Transistor (FET)
MGF103B. The design and simulation was carried out using the Advanced Design
System software. The design was carried out with 3 levels, but the fabrication
stage was only carried out on a low noise amplifier level 1. The simulation results
on a low noise amplifier level 3 showed an input return loss of -37,819 dB and an
output of -35,348 dB. The resulting gain is 30,402 dB, with a noise figure of 2.5
dB. The simulation results at low noise amplifier level 1 show that the input return
loss is -21.424 dB and the output is -23.873 dB. The resulting gain is 11,161 dB,
with a noise figure of 3.3 dB. The measurement results on the low noise amplifier
level 1 show a return loss of -21.9597 dB for input and -12.3902 dB for output,
with a gain of 3.6 dB.
