Analisis Persepsi Dan Partisipasi Siswa Terhadap Pengelolaan Lingkungan Sekolah Adiwiyata Di Kota Pekanbaru
Sustainable environmental management in schools is the management of
environmentally friendly supporting facilities such as waste management activities and
arrangement of school gardens. Adiwiyata is one of the programs of the state ministry of
environment in order to encourage the creation of knowledge and awareness of school
members in environmental preservation. The Adiwiyata program in an effort to implement
environmental development in schools can be carried out in the learning process so as to
shape the character of students who care about the environment. All school members need
to be involved in supporting various environmental learning activities with the aim of
forming a character who cares about the environment. Communities around the school
environment need to be involved in various activities related to the environment around the
school
The purpose of this study was to analyze students' perceptions of environmental
management at Adiwiyata schools in Pekanbaru City, to analyze student participation in
environmental management at Adiwiyata schools in Pekanbaru City. The data obtained in
this study through validation sheets from experts/experts, questionnaires and interviews.
The research analysis for data on student perceptions and participation on the management
of the Adiwiyata school environment used quantitative descriptive analysis.
Based on the results of the study it was known (1) that students' perceptions of the
Adiwiyata school environment in Pekanbaru City were in a fairly good category. This
means that students still do not get enough information about environmental management
of the Adiwiyata school in Pekanbaru City. (2) Student participation in environmental
management of the Adiwiyata school in Pekanbaru City is in the good category. This means
that student participation in managing the Adiwiyata school environment has been carried
out in accordance with the expectations of all school members. The implementation of the
Adiwiyata program is expected to be able to increase students' awareness of environmental
management so that students' awareness of environmental management of Adiwiyata
schools is getting better. In addition to participating in implementing the school adiwiyata
program, so that the attitude of care and awareness of the environment is increasing.
Schools will receive consideration in making various policies related to the management
of the adiwiyata environment carried out by school members, each of whom has a role
