Rancang Bangun Augmented Reality Menggunakan Metode Marker Based Tracking Berbasis Android Dalam Pelajaran Matematika Dalam Bentuk Bangun Ruang
ABSTRACT
Technological advancements are progressing so rapidly that they can greatly assist humans in various fields, including education. Augmented reality technology is capable of displaying virtual worlds in the real world. Mathematics education often poses challenges in understanding for many individuals, particularly when it comes to the introduction of spatial geometry, which is typically conveyed through books. However, students are unable to visualize the complete 3D structure of geometric objects. Conversely, if physical models are used to teach spatial geometry, they are prone to damage, loss, color fading, or deformation over time. Augmented reality applications for spatial geometry help students understand the subject by presenting virtual representations of various geometric shapes, edges, formulas, nets, plane diagonals, and space diagonals in the real world, using marker-based tracking methods. This approach generates student interest and facilitates rapid comprehension of the provided material, accompanied by quizzes to assess student understanding.
