Perencanaan Sistem Mekanik Dan Kendali Pada Proses Sortasi Buah Sawit Berdasarkan Massa
ABSTRACT
As we know, currently the process of sorting fresh fruit bunches (FFB) at palm oil mills (PKS) still uses manual or traditional methods by relying on experienced harvesters or graders, therefore a smart machine vision tool was created. based on multispectral imaging for sorting and grading fresh fruit bunches of oil palm (FFB). This tool functions as a tool for sorting fresh fruit bunches of oil palm. In the previous stage, this tool used a camera imaging system to detect the ripeness of the palm fruit. Therefore, in the next stage, a sorting system based on mass ≤ 5kg was planned, as well as mechanisms and work systems for mechanical control of the sorting tool. Oil palm fresh fruit bunches (FFB) will later be weighed using the load cell in the sorting, then the results of reading the FFB weight on the load cell will be aligned using other digital scales that have been calibrated using the linear regression method. Therefore, a schematic design of the microcontroller control system will be obtained as well as the mechanism and working system of mechanical control on the mass-based palm fruit sorting tool.
