Desain Ulang Alat Pemanas Kandang Ayam Broiler Bahan Bakar Oli Bekas Dengan Menggunakan Metode Ahp (Analytical Hierarchy Process)
ABSTRACT
This research aims to redesign an optimal heating device for broiler chicken coops using the AHP method. This method is used to select tool designs based on the weight of indicators that influence design selection. Through the analysis of questionnaires and AHP calculations, the indicators that influence the choice of tool design are fuel control (41.8%), safety (44.6%), ergonomics (8.4%), and serviceability (5.2%). Based on AHP calculations, the optimal design of a broiler coop heater using used oil is alternative 1. This design involves simplification of components, such as installing a blower and fuel tank on the protective cover of the furnace. Additionally, the plastic fuel hose was replaced with a heat-resistant iron hose, and automatic fuel control was added. This study concluded that the optimal redesign of the broiler coop heating device using used oil is alternative 1, based on calculations using the AHP method. This design is expected to increase the performance, efficiency, safety, and ease of operation of the tool.
