Perancangan Smart Library Self-Services Menggunakan Internet Of Things (Iot)
ABSTRACT
Traditional library systems often face challenges in managing book loans and returns. Therefore, this research aims to develop a smart library system that can assist in managing book loans and returns independently. The developed system uses IoT technology, CNN-based Face Recognition, RFID tags to automatically identify books, and IR sensors to determine the number of visitors in the library. The library website was designed with user-friendly aspects in mind, such as easy access to book loans and returns. The implementation of CNN in Face Recognition system can quickly and accurately identify users, while RFID technology enables the system to automatically identify books. The system was tested by conducting sensitivity tests on Face Recognition accuracy using 400 sample photos from 20 individuals. The test results showed that Face Recognition has an accuracy rate of 99.5% or 0.995. In addition, the author also tested the RFID Reader system used to read tags on books, and the results showed that the sensor has a good accuracy rate when the network is stable. This research demonstrates that the developed smart library system can effectively assist in managing book loans and returns by utilizing IoT technology, Face Recognition, Proximity IR, and RFID tags on the library website.
