Rancang Bangun Sistem Monitoring Dan Pengontrolan Kesehatan Lingkungan Hidup Pada Maggot Black Soldier Fly (Bsf) Berbasis Iot
ABSTRACT
Feed is an important aspect that plays a major role in animal husbandry. The biggest problem for farms today in running their business is the high price of feed. To overcome this problem, BSF (Black Soldier Fly) insects were chosen because they are easy to produce easily, have high protein and fat and these insects have anti-fungal and anti-microbial properties. Maggot itself requires optimal environmental health to support the growth and development of maggot. This thesis designs a system that can monitor and control the living environment of Internet of Things (IoT) based maggots that can overcome these problems. This design uses dht22 and capasitive soil moisture sensors to detect air temperature, air humidity and flooding in the media. Data from the sensors will be sent by NodeMCU ESP8266 to the blynk application as monitoring and control. The results of testing this tool are able to monitor and control the maggot living environment properly. Testing the accuracy of the dht22 sensor has 99.68% accuracy in reading air temperature and 99.77% in reading air humidity. Remote control was successfully carried out from several places and the average delay obtained during the three days of testing was 2.315 s.
