Penerapan Metode Queue Tree Pada Router Mikrotik Untuk Jaringan Hotspot Di SMA KARYA Pengalihan
ABSTRACT
The design of hotspot networks at SMA KARYA Pengalihan is very important because of the great benefits and influence of teachers and students to find learning ideas or learning materials, besides that it is also used for activities in the computer lab and several other activities. When used simultaneously and a large number of users will experience internet quality problems will be poor. For this reason, it is necessary to design a hotspot network using the Queue Tree method in order to manage bandwidth so that the distribution of bandwidth into an even internet network quality becomes better when used. The purpose of this study is to determine the results of implementing hotspot networks after applying the Queue Tree method to a proxy and to determine the impact before and after implementing the Queue Tree method. The type of research used in this study is the type of Quantitative Research, while the method used is the Queue Tree method. Network design carried out at SMA KARYA was made in accordance with the data and circumstances obtained during previous observations. The data collection instrument used in this study is Quality of Service (QoS) parameters consisting of Throughput, Packet Loss, Delay and Jitter. The results of this study show the results that after implementing a hotspot network using the Queue Tree method it becomes better and the impact obtained is that the network in the school becomes better because each user has determined the speed of access so that it is not disturbed by slow speeds due to many accessing.
