PARTICIPATION IN RAMBAH HILIR TENGAH VILLAGE 2018-2020

Abstract
The village government has a very influential role, especially in efforts to
create a climate that encourages the growth of initiatives and community self-help
in rural areas, which is carried out through development directing the community
to participate in development. The purpose of this study was to determine the role
of the village government in increasing participation in agricultural development
through local wisdom in Rambah Hilir Tengah Village and to find out the
constraints on the role of the village government in increasing community
participation in Rambah Hilir Tengah Village. The research problem is that
community participation in development in rural areas has decreased, while
participation in agricultural development has increased. The method used in this
study is qualitative because the research that the author discusses is descriptive in
nature. What is the role of the village government in increasing community
participation?
The results of this study indicate that the role of the village government in
increasing community participation in the context of agricultural development
there are 3, namely the role of the dynamist, namely the role of the village head in
increasing community participation in the development that has been held, the
role of the catalyst, namely the role that forms an activity in planning agricultural
development in the village , The role of the Pioneer is the role that shows that the
results of the work have been carried out with the participation of the village
community. The constraints on the government's role in increasing community
participation are external factors and internal factors. In this study it was
concluded that community participation in the context of agricultural
development, the village government and the community played a role in carrying
out the development that had been carried out by the village government, as well
as providing motivation for the community to play a more active role in the
development that was to be carried out.
