PROFILE OF ADVERSE EVENT OF SPECIAL INTEREST COVID-19 IN PREGNANT WOMEN

Adverse Post-Immunization Events are complaints or symptoms experienced after vaccination. Since 2021 a COVID-19 vaccination has been carried out for pregnant women in the form of the Sinovac vaccine. Physiological differences between pregnant and non-pregnant women are things that need to be considered to assess the body's response to the COVID-19 vaccination which is being given to the community for the first time after the COVID-19 pandemic. The objective is to know the Profile of Adverse Events of special interest after COVID-19 Immunization in pregnant women. This research method is a retrospective descriptive using a Google form that is sent to respondents and interviews. The total respondents in this study were 71 respondents who were taken by means of total sampling of pregnant women who had vaccinated at Arifin Achmad Hospital for the period August 2021-February 2022. The most common co-occurrence experienced by respondents to vaccination 1 was psychological complaints in the form of frequent drowsiness/sleeping longer (43.6%). whereas in vaccination 2 was pain in the injection area (36.6%). The most frequent follow-up event based on age in vaccination 1, namely aged 20-35 years, was fever/chills (32.2%). and the same with vaccination 2 in the form of fever/chills (24.1%). The most common follow-up event based on Gravida was multigravida with the most complaints from vaccination 1 being psychological complaints in the form of feeling sleepy/sleeping longer (55.5%). and in 2 vaccinations fever/chills (27.7%). Adverse events based on a history of being infected with Covid-19, the most common were those who had never been infected before in vaccination 1 felt sleepy/sleep (43.9%) while in vaccination 2 they had fever/chills (28.7%).
