Perancangan Sistem Mekanik Dan Kendali Friction Stir Welding (Fsw) Dengan Menggunakan Metode Ahp (Analytical Hierarchy Process)
ABSTRACT
Friction Stir Welding (FSW) is a machine used for solid-state welding for joining materials, especially dissimilar materials. Friction stir welding can be used for welding thermoplastic materials, one of which is High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE). So it is necessary to make a strong frame to withstand all the friction of the stir welding machine components. The Analytical Hirerachy Process (AHP) method was chosen as a method to determine the optimal friction stir welding design based on a questionnaire given to the expert, to choose the best decision alternative. Questionnaires were made to get the priority needs of experts which were then used for initial design. The next stage is selecting the optimal design using AHP involving experts based on the indicators of a product. The highest indicator value obtained on the friction stir welding machine is the Design indicator with a value of 48,52%, then the second highest is the Accuracy indicator of 27,18%, then the Accuracy indicators is 18,16% and the Serviceability indicator is 6,14%. The results of the calculation of the design value of the friction stir welding machine are the first design alternative of 33%, the second design alternative is 35% and the tird design alternative is 32%.
