ABSTRACT
The Unmanned Fast Boat Contest (KKCTBN) has the theme "Camaran Type Electric Remote Control warship" is one of the important student affairs agendas held by the Indonesian Talent Development Center of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, in terms of developing digital maritime technology innovations to contribute to the idea of supporting defense and security independence which is currently a major issue in the country of Indonesia . A technology is needed where RC ships are able to have high speed and agility in maneuvers. In this research, the design and testing of the prototype Catamaran Electric Remote Control warship was carried out. The designed prototype ship has a main size of 79.47 cm in length, 30 cm in width, 17.11 cm in height and 5.82 cm in draft to get a displacement of a minimum prototype ship of 5 kg according to competition regulations. The ship design process uses maxsurf and Autocad software to get the resistance, stability, and motion of the ship prototype.
