Penerapan Model Inkuiri Tebimbing Menggunakan Kit Mekanika Pada Materi Gerak Harmonik Dalam Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Kognitif Siswa Kelas X SMA
This study aims to obtain improved cognitive learning outcomes of students through applying a guided inquiry model using KIT mechanics on harmonic motion material. This research uses Quasi-Experiments or Pseudo-Experiments. The research design used in this study was postest only nonequivalent control group design. In the use of this design, a comparison of the experimental group and the control group was carried out, where the samples taken were not random. The population of this study was all students of class X Science at one of the MA in Pekanbaru. The sample was selected by lottery after a normality test and homogeneity test using momentum and impulse values. Data collection was carried out using a postest test given to both classes as 15 multiple-choice questions. Test the hypothesis using the Mann whitney test. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class, where the learning outcomes of the experimental class were higher that applied the guided inquiry model using KIT mechanics than the control class that applied conventional learning.
