Pengelolaan Ekosistem Mangrove Berkelanjutan Di Kecamatan Tebing Tinggi Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti, Riau
Background and Research Objectives: The coast of Tebing Tinggi Island is overgrown with mangroves. This area has very fertile mangroves, so this area is rich in fishery resources, especially shrimp and crabs. So that many local people work as fishermen. At this time, the conditions are quite the opposite, the catch of fishermen from year to year has decreased. This condition is caused by many damaged mangrove forests. Sustainable management of mangrove ecosystems is a form of interpretation of sustainable development that needs serious attention from the government, community and related stakeholders. The three pillars of the concept of sustainable development, namely the economic, ecological and social dimensions so as to guarantee the existence of mangroves to be enjoyed by all generations on earth and need to be added to the legal-institutional and technological dimensions. This study aims to identify the environmental conditions of the mangrove ecosystem which include ecological, economic, socio-cultural, legal-institutional and technological conditions, analyze the sustainability index and status, identify the determinants of sustainability and formulate a sustainable mangrove ecosystem management model.
Research Methods: Some issues regarding the mangrove ecosystem in Tebing Tinggi District, Kepulauan Meranti Regency, namely; There is pressure on mangrove forests, excessive logging, coastal abrasion along the waters of the Air Hitam Strait, and water pollution. Starting from these issues, it is necessary to conduct research on the truth of these issues and how far the impact is on the sustainability of the mangrove ecosystem in Tebing Tinggi District. Do these issues occur massively or are they just cases that don't have a broad impact on the mangrove ecosystem? Sustainability analysis was carried out using the MDS (Multidimensional Scaling) analysis approach with the help of RapMangrove software (modified Rapfish). Mangrove Ecosystem management research was carried out using survey methods, literature studies, laboratory analysis and interviews. Field surveys were conducted to collect data on the ecological, economic, socio-cultural, legal-institutional as well as technological-infrastructure dimensions.
Results and Discussion: The results of the analysis of the sustainability of the ecological dimensions (Rap Mangrove) of the management of the mangrove ecosystem in Tebing Tinggi District obtained the sustainability index of Sesap Village 67.58%, Banglas Barat 66.60%, Banglas 64.30%, Selatpanjang Kota 64.72%, Selatpanjang Barat 70.27 % and Alahair 70.27%. Overall, the sustainability status of the ecological dimension is quite sustainable, with an average value of 67.29%. Based on the leverage analysis, four attributes were obtained that were sensitive to the value of the ecological dimension of the

sustainability index, namely: beach abrasion, pressure on mangrove land, rehabilitation success and water conditions. RapMangrove's analysis of the sustainability of the economic dimension, obtained the value of Sesap Village 56.35%, Banglas Barat 56.36%, Banglas 60.00%, Selatpanjang Kota 26.21%, Selatpanjang Barat 13.94% and Alahair 23.79%. This value explains that the economic dimension is sustainable in Sesap Village, Banglas Barat and Banglas whose value is > 50%, while Selatpanjang Kota is less sustainable with a value of
