This study aims to find out what are the causes of social conflict, social conflict resolution, and types of
forms of social conflict in the film Copying Light. This type of research is qualitative using descriptive
qualitative research methods, namely to describe and describe existing phenomena, both natural and
human-made, which pay more attention to characteristics, quality, interrelationships between activities.
The techniques used in data collection are documentation techniques, observation techniques, and notetaking
techniques. The research data that the authors get are data in the form of character dialogue. The
data source in this study is the film Copying Light. The results of social conflict research in the film
Copying Light contain as many as 63 data with 21 data for causes, 21 data for completion, and 21 data
for types of forms.
