Kemampuan Menentukan Adjektiva Mahasiswa Angkatan 2020 Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Dan Sastra Indonesia Universitas Riau

This research describes the level of ability to determine student adjectives class of 2020 at the Indonesian Language and Literature Study Program at the University of Riau. Students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program as future teacher candidates need to know their cognitive abilities regarding the knowledge they receive. One of them is the class of adjectives. Therefore, the ability to determine the type of adjective and function of the 88 research samples is the research focus. This research includes quantitative descriptive research. The data collection technique uses a test technique, namely multiple choice tests for the type of adjective test and a subjective short answer essay test for the test of the function of the adjective. Data analysis techniques were carried out by the lilifors test and one sample t test. The results of data analysis, namely 1) the ability to determine the high category of adjectives with an average of 76, 36, 2) the ability to determine the types of adjectives in a high category with an average of 77.95, and 3) the ability to determine the function in a high category adjective with an average of 74 ,24.
