Perancangan Mesin Penghancur Limbah Plastik Menggunakan Metode Hatamura
ABSTRACT
This final project aims to design a plastic type waste crushing machine which is expected to provide a solution to overcome the ever-increasing amount of waste. Plastic itself is a type of waste non-organic which is difficult to decompose. The method used in designing is Hatamura. The Hatamura method consists of several processes, namely requirements selection, specification selection, functional selection, conceptual selection, and component selection. This final project is drawn using autodesk inventor to carry out structural analysis simulations of frames, shafts, and blade shapes and dynamic structural simulations. The result of this final project is the dimensions of the designed crusher measuring 1.5 m x 0.6 m x 1 m, using a 2 hp motor with a capacity of 70 kg/hour so that it requires a blade rotation speed of 250 rpm, using a 150 mm diameter knife with type shredder which has 6 blades cut each end. The machine uses two rotating shafts with 22 crushing blades placed on each axis. This final project aims to determine the ratio of torque requirements generated using dynamic simulations.
