Perancangan Alat Uji Tribometer Tipe “Pin On Disc Dan Disc On Disc” Menggunakan Metode Hatamura
ABSTRACT The pin on disc type tribometer is a tribometer that works with a mechanism using pins and flat plate components that are partly in contact with each other. The disc will rotate and the pins will press against the surface of the disc due to the applied load. The disc-on-disc type tribometer is the contact that occurs between the roller element (solid cylinder) and the inner ring on the cylindrical rolling bearings. This tool is used to test components consisting of two discs where the material may vary. The Hatamura method is used and then evaluates existing concepts and selects concepts based on a decision matrix. Then, the concept is designed and analyzed by manual calculation and validation using Autodesk Inventor to determine the stress, deflection, and safety factor on the shaft and frame. Based on the standard factor of safety in this design, it can be said to be safe because the value of the safety factor obtained is greater than 3. The end result of this research is a technical document in the form of layout drawings and assembly drawings as well as detailed drawings of each component and Bill of materials.
