Management of BUMDes Betung Mandiri, Lubuk Betung Village, Rokan iv Koto District, Against the Economy of Village Communities in 2018-2020

Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) are business entities whose capital is wholly or substantially owned by the Village through direct participation originating from Village assets which are separated to manage assets, services and other businesses for the greatest possible welfare of the Village community. In this thesis the author discusses the management of Betung Mandiri BUMDes in developing business and economy through empowering the Lubuk Betung Village community, the impact of Betung Mandiri BUMDes in developing business and economy through empowering the Lubuk Betung Village community, as well as the economic view of Betung Mandiri BUMDes in developing business and economy through empowering the people of Lubuk Betung Village. However, the development cannot be said to be successful because the management of BUMDes is still experiencing bottlenecks with issues of equity participation funds, the management's performance is still not optimal, namely transparency about finances and a lack of supervision of BUMDes Betung Mandiri. This thesis is a qualitative research with a descriptive research method that is described in written and spoken words and uses a naturalistic approach to seek and find understanding or understanding of phenomena in a specific context.
The data were obtained from the results of the research approach, village documents, Betung Mandiri BUMDes data, data collection, data analysis, observation, documentation studies and interviews with the Village Government and Betung Mandiri BUMDes Management of Lubuk Betung Village. The data sources used are Primary Data and Secondary Data. The research results obtained that in the management of Betung Mandiri BUMDes aims to increase village original income (PAD) in order to improve people's lives through business development and the community's economy is good. In addition, the Betung Mandiri BUMDes also supports the empowerment and development of the community's economy so that it can prosper the community. It's just that there are still obstacles in the Betung Mandiri BUMDes operational process, namely the lack of budget and lack of supervision from related parties. This is because the Betung Mandiri BUMDes manager still does not have human resources who are experts in the field of management.
