Visualisasi Citra Objek Sumbatan Dalam Pipa Menggunakan Sinyal Suara Dan Mikrofon Jamak
ABSTRACT
Pipes and piping systems are one of the vital elements in the industrial world. As a fluid transportation medium, smooth distribution is of great concern. Disturbances in the form of hard objects can affect the discharge to fluid pressure in the pipe. One of the methods developed is by using acoustic wave media sound signals, namely the acoustic reflectometry method. Not only identifying the position of the blockage, but also visualizing the shape so that it can provide information related to the shape and size of the blockage that occurs. Visualization of the blockage image utilizes the wavelet coefficient where sensors that are linear to the blockage will have a relatively larger wavelet coefficient value than sensors that are not linear to the blockage. So in this study, experiments were carried out using the shape of a quarter, half, three-quarters, full and ring blockage with a variation in the number of sensors, namely 4, 8, and 16 sensors. The experimental results show that the sound signal is able to visualize the image of the blockage well and corresponds to its actual shape. Increasing the number of microphones also increases the accuracy of the blockage object imaging.
