Pengembangan Dan Uji Terbang Wahana Hexacopter Untuk Misi Penyemprotan Pestisida
ABSTRACT
Hexacopter is one of the flying robots in the unmanned rotary wing category. Hexacopter itself does not have a crew or pilot to control its control system, but uses a Ground Control System (GCS). The purpose of this research is to producea design and manufacture of pesticide tanks for hexacopter rides and flight performance of hexacopter rides related to horizontal flight speed, vertical flight speed, flight time. As well as comparing data from theoretical calculations and experimental results of flight performance related to the performance of the hexacopter vehicle propulsion system. The methodology used begins with a literature study which is then carried out making a pesticide tank design wherethe best Cd value is obtained, namely 0.40054722, then the setup and testing scheme is carried out by testing the static trust value until 100% throttle then the theoretical calculation of the flight performance of the hexacopter vehicle followed by flight testing of the hexacopter vehicle to obtain experimental data from the hexacopter vehicle. The benefits obtained are to produce hexacopter rides that will be integrated into agricultural land, comparison of theoretical and experimental data from the flight performance of hexacopter rides obtained a climb rate value of 0.51m / s, the horizontal speed that can be achieved by the vehicle is 4.85 m / s. The flight time required by the vehicle to complete the flight mission is 1 minute 04 seconds.
