Background: Multimedia as a learning medium can help students in the learning process by increasing motivation, effectiveness, and understanding in the learning process. One form of multimedia in e-learning is an interactive quiz. Interactive quizzes can be used to learn histology, one of the basic sciences studied at the Faculty of Medicine. Histology is a science that is difficult to learn, so it can affect student exam results. Thus, an interactive histology quiz that will be used as a learning medium must be made in such a way as to achieve the purpose of making this media. This can reduce complex cognitive load, thereby increasing efficiency in the learning process. Usability in this study will be measured using the System Usability Scale (SUS) and the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ).
Objective: This study aimed to determine the usability of interactive quizzes as histology learning media.
Method: This research design was descriptive quantitative with a cross-sectional approach. The instruments used were the usability system scale (SUS) questionnaire and the user experience questionnaire (UEQ). The sampling technique used is total sampling.
Result: Usability as measured by the System Usability Scale (SUS) gets a score of 62. Acceptability ranges are in the "marginal" category with a grade scale at the "D" category level and adjective ratings at the "ok" category level. User Experience as measured by the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ). The histology interactive quiz on the quality group got an average positive score and the quality scale got a positive average score, except for the novelty scale which got a neutral score.
Conclusion: Usability results as measured by SUS scored 62 and user experience as measured by UEQ received positive scores for almost all categories and neutral scores for the novelty category.
