Dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) is a disease caused by dengue virus infection. Dengue hemorrhagic fever in humans occurs due to the dengue virus that enters through the intermediary of Aedes aegypti mosquitoes. Marpoyan Damai District has a high dengue case in Pekanbaru City. One method of mosquito control that can be used in reducing mosquito populations is chemical control using insecticides. The problem that often arises due to chemical control in dealing with DHF is the emergence of vector resistance due to insecticides that are used continuously. This study aimed to determine the resistance status of Aedes aegypti mosquitoes to bendiocarb 0.1% in Tangkerang Barat Village, Marpoyan Damai District. This research’s method used a descriptive research with a cross sectional design. The study was conducted from October 2022 to July 2023. The sample used in this study were adult Aedes aegypti mosquitoes aged 3-5 days totaling 150 mosquitoes. The collection of Aedes aegypti larvae was by using simple random sampling with species determination using a single larva method. The test was conducted used the World Health Organization (WHO) method resistance test with an impregnated paper bendiocarb of 0.1%. The result showed that Aedes aegypti mosquitoes in West Tangkerang Village, Marpoyan Damai District were resistant to 0.1% bendiocarb. Keywords: Aedes aegypti, bendiocarb, resistance
