THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN EDUCATION AND MOTHER'S WORK AND HOME DISTANCE WITH TODDLER VISITS TO POSYANDU IN MELAYU BESAR VILLAGE, TANAH PUTIH TANJUNG SUB-DISTRICT, ROKAN HILIR DISTRICT

Integrated service post (Posyandu) is one of the community participation efforts in providing integrated health services and monitoring organized by the community for the community. Based on data from the Riau Province health profile in 2020, the percentage of toddlers who were weighed in Rokan Hilir Regency was only 31%. The purpose of the study was to determine whether there is a relationship between education and mother's work and distance from home with toddler visits to Posyandu in Melayu Besar Village, Tanah Putih Tanjung Melawan District, Rokan Hilir Regency. This research design is cross sectional. Sampling was done by accidental sampling technique. The sample consisted of 55 mothers of toddlers. The result is the majority of mothers of toddlers in the Posyandu of Melayu Besar Village, Rokan Hilir Regency have low education, do not work, home distance < 2km from the posyandu and routinely bring toddlers to the posyandu. There is a relationship between maternal education with visits to the posyandu (p-value = 0.003), there is a relationship between maternal work with visits to the posyandu (p-value = 0.028), and there is no relationship between home distance with visits to the posyandu (p-value = 0.354).
