Analisis Pemanfaatan Data Hujan Satelit Trmm, Gsmap, Dan Chirps Menggunakan Google Earth Engine
ABSTRACT
Rain is a phenomenon that often occurs on most continents. The amount of rain that falls in a certain time period and a certain area is called rainfall. Observational rainfall data is obtained using the River Watershed (DAS) approach. However, the watershed does not cover estuary areas which are dominated by mangrove/peat forests. PT. Bumi Palma Lestari Persada is a company located in peat areas and has been carrying out observational rainfall measurements since 2016. So the observational rainfall data from this company can be used as a research reference. However, rainfall observations in the field cannot yet present overall variability. So a solution was found by utilizing satellite-based remote sensing technology such as CHIRPS, TRMM and GSMaP to monitor rainfall using Google Earth Engine. This research was conducted to analyze the level of accuracy of satellite rainfall data on observed rainfall using general parameters such as Correlation Coefficient (r), Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) and Mean Absolute Error (MAE) and the Mann Whitney test. This research uses an accuracy analysis method on CHIRPS, TRMM and GSMaP satellite rain data on actual and predicted observed rain data at the research location. The research results show that the GSMaP Satellite rain data has advantages over other satellites after correction. This statement is supported by the general parameter values used after being corrected to be more accurate. The prediction equation used to correct GSMaP satellite rainfall data against observed rainfall data at PT.BPLP for the daily period is
, while for the monthly period it is
