Analisis Saluran Pemasaran Agroindustri Gula Kelapa Di Kecamatan Tempuling Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir
ABSTRACT
This study aimed to analyze and evaluate the most efficient marketing channels in the coconut sugar agroindustry. This research was conducted in Tempuling District, Indragiri Hilir Regency. The method used in this research is observation with qualitative descriptive and quantitative descriptive approaches. Qualitative descriptive methods are used to analyze marketing channels. Quantitative descriptive is used in calculating marketing margin, farmer's share, and marketing efficiency. Coconut sugar marketing consists of three marketing channels, the channel I include farmers – collectors – consumers, channel II includes farmers – collectors – retailers – end consumers, and channel III includes farmers – collecting traders – large traders – supplier. Channel I is the efficient channel consisting of marketing margin of IDR 1,250, an 92,75% farmer's share, and 3.67% marketing efficiency.
