Desain Algoritma Kwh Ekspor Impor Plts Rooftop On Grid Pln Dengan Beban Rumah Tangga
ABSTRACT
Solar energy is one of the renewable energy sources that can be harnessed for electricity generation. One of the increasingly popular types of power generation is Rooftop Solar Power Plants (PLTS) which are installed on rooftops. These systems have gained popularity across various sectors, including residential, commercial, industrial, and government buildings. The primary goal of rooftop PLTS is to assist in reducing customers' monthly electricity bills by measuring the exported and imported kilowatt-hours (kWh) between customers and the national electricity company (PLN), in accordance with Regulation of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Number 49 of 2018. The implementation of rooftop PLTS also empowers individuals to maximize the utilization of renewable energy, allowing them to send surplus power to the national grid when the PLTS generates excess electricity. In this research, a simulation of On-grid Rooftop PLTS is conducted using MATLAB Simulink, utilizing three 250 WP capacity solar panels to meet the household load demand of 4687 Wh. Based on the simulation results, during the hours of 09:00-15:00, the PLTS generates a daily energy output of 7.837 kWh, exporting 6.169 kWh per day to the PLN. Meanwhile, during periods when the PLTS does not generate electricity, the household imports 3.022 kWh of energy from the PLN throughout the day. Consequently, over the course of a month, the rooftop PLTS can export approximately 185.070 kWh of electrical energy to the PLN while importing 90.660 kWh during the same period
