The formulation of the problem in this study is how the independence of late adolescent girls in the Youth Family Development program in KB Mekar Wangi Village, Tangkerang Barat Village. This study aims to determine the independence of adolescent girls in the Youth Family Development program in KB Mekar Wangi Village, Tangkerang Barat Village. This study has 3 indicators, namely (1) value independence, (2) behavioral independence and (3) emotional independence.
After this research is carried out, it is hoped that it can provide benefits, while the benefits of this research are divided into two, namely theoretical benefits and practical benefits. The theoretical benefits of the results of this study are to add new insights into science related to adolescent independence and as a source of reference for future researchers in studying problems related to adolescent independence. While the practical benefits of the results of this study are expected to provide benefits for researchers, for the community, and for future researchers.
This research is a type of descriptive research using a qualitative approach. This research was conducted in Kampung KB Mekar Wangi, Tangkerang Barat Village, which involved 6 (six) informants as research subjects consisting of 3 (three) main informants and 3 supporting informants. The data collection techniques in this study are documentation, observation and interviews. While the analysis techniques in this study are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing.

Based on data analysis and discussion, researchers can conclude that late adolescent girls in Kampung KB Mekar Wangi, Tangkerang Barat Village are able to think about something on their own values and principles and abilities without the help of parents or other close people. This is marked by the attitude of these adolescents who wear polite and closed clothes and limit their relationships with the opposite sex on their own wishes without coercion from parents. Then these adolescents are also able to make decisions independently, which is marked by their decision to participate in posyandu activities without orders and influence from others. In addition, late adolescent girls in Mekar Wangi KB Village, Tangkerang Barat Village have the courage to express their opinions in the BKR program. Furthermore, late adolescent girls in Mekar Wangi KB Village, Tangkerang Barat Village are also no longer emotionally dependent on their parents. This is indicated by her ability to determine something without the direction and support of her parents, her ability to delay shedding her feelings to others when facing problems.
Based on the results of research and discussion of Adolescent Independence in the Youth Family Development Program (BKR) in KB Mekar Wangi Village, Tangkerang Barat Village can be recommended as follows:
1. It is recommended that the management of the teenage family development program be able to make efforts to increase the independence of adolescents by forming a productive youth movement in which there are several special empowerment activities for adolescents.
2. It is recommended that future researchers develop research topics on economic-based youth empowerment to increase youth independence.
3. It is recommended for future researchers to develop their findings
