Hubungan Partisipasi Siswa Dalam Kegiatan Osis Terhadap Sikap Kepemimpinan Siswa (Student Leadership) Di MAN 1 Dumai

The purpose of this research is to find out whether there is a relationship
between student participation in student council activities and student leadership
attitudes at MAN 1 Dumai. This research method is associative quantitative with a
causal relationship and produces statistical data. The hypothesis of this research
was tested using the Pearson product-moment formula using IBM SPSS version
22. The population in this research consisted of the class population, so the
sample taken was 67 students. Based on the results of distributing questionnaires
to respondents carried out in this research, the results obtained in the Pearson
product-moment analysis are a Pearson correlation value (r) of 0.439, which has
a value greater than 0.05, namely a relationship level of 43.9%. The interval
coefficient ranges from between 0.41 to 0.60, meaning the level of relationship is
moderate. Therefore, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) can be accepted, which
means there is a moderate relationship between student participation in OSIS
activities and student leadership attitudes at MAN 1 Dumai.
