Pengaruh Kemiskinan Dan Pertumbuhan Ekonomi Terhadap Indeks Pembangunan Manusia Di Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir

This research aims to determine the effect of poverty and economic growth on the human development index in Indragiri Hilir Regency. And to find out which factors have the most dominant influence on the human development index in Indragiri Hilir Regency. The data used in this research is time series data for the period 2010-2022. This research uses multiple linear regression analysis methods to find out how much influence the independent variable has on the dependent variable. This research was analyzed using the Eviews-12 application
This research provides results that the poverty variable (X1) has a negative and significant effect on the human development index in Indragiri Hilir Regency with a probability level of 0.0016. while economic growth has a negative and insignificant effect on the human development index with a probability of 0.0601. Simultaneously (F Test) poverty and economic growth have a significant effect on the human development index in Indragiri Hilir district. The Adjusted R-Squared value in this study is 0.715789, which means 71.57% is influenced by poverty and economic growth and the remaining 28.43% is influenced by other variables outside this research.
