Analisis Tingkat Bahaya Erosi di Daerah Aliran Sungai (DAS) Batang Sinamar Menggunakan Metode USLE dan MUSLE
The development of community activities in utilizing land to meet their daily needs has an impact on changes in land use in the Batang Sinamar watershed. The change in land use is feared to have the potential for land erosion. This study aims to determine the rate of erosion and the level of erosion hazard in the Batang Sinamar watershed. The USLE and MUSLE erosion prediction models are used to estimate erosion on land cultivated using the GIS application. The results of the analysis show that erosion occurs with the USLE prediction model of 20.276,448 ton/ha/year and MUSLE of 658,525 ton/ha/year. The erosion hazard level that occurs in the USLE prediction model is dominated by light erosion (29.924%) of the watershed area and MUSLE is dominated by very light erosion (48.034%) of the watershed area.
