Prospek Pengembangan Usaha Pembenihan Ikan Gurami (Osphronemus Gouramy) Di Nagari Mungo Kecamatan Luak Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota Provinsi Sumatera Barat

ABSTRACT

This research was conducted out in Nagari Mungo Luak Subdistrict Lima Puluh Kota District West Sumatra Province, namely in February 2023. The research location was determined purposively based on the consideration that Nagari Mungo is the center for hatchery of gouramy in Lima Puluh Kota District. The method was used in this resesarch by survey with the number of sampel was 24 people who was taken with Proportional Random Sampling method. The analyzed data in this research is investment, revenue, feasibility business, analysis backward linkage and forward linkage. The research results showed that the of total investment on small scale is IDR 19.121.929, on medium scale is IDR 46.751.366 and on large scale is IDR 91.433.166. Then the revenues on small scale is IDR 7.582.533, on medium scale is IDR 18.681.359 and on large scale is IDR 28.875.703. From these results the PPC value on small scale is 7,56 then on medium scale is 7,50 and on large scale is 9,49. The value R/C on small scale is 2,06 and on medium scale is 3,82 and on large scale is 4,24. The FRR value on small and medium scale is 40% and on large scale is 32%. Based on the results of the prospect development of gouramy, the R/C is more than 1, the PPC value is smaller than the economic life and the FRR is greater than the bank interest rate of 3%. Based on analyzed forward linkage if the output (fish seeds) was increase demand for the input sector (land, parent fish, water resources, fish feed and worker). From forward linkage analyzed, if the output (fish seeds) was increase, the other sectors also have to more production input. So the prospect development of gourami (Oshphronemus gouramy) hatchery business in Nagari Mungo Luak Subdistrict, Lima Puluh Kota Regency, West Sumatera Province worthy to implementation and developed.
