Situs Cagar Budaya Menhir Belubus Sebagai Media Pembelajaran Sejarah Di Sman 1 Kecamatan Guguak Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota

Abstract: This research aims to find out (1) What is the process of utilizing the Belubus menhir cultural heritage site at SMAN 1 Guguak, (2) What are the advantages and disadvantages of using the Belubus menhir cultural heritage site as a medium for learning history at SMAN 1 Guguak. The research method used is a qualitative method. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects of this research were history teachers and class X2 students at SMAN 1 Guguak. The results of the research show that the process of utilizing the menhir belubus cultural heritage site at SMAN 1 Guguak, the history teacher implemented it using the outdoor study method, there were three stages in the learning process, namely, the orientation stage, the exploration stage, and the reflection stage. The advantages of using the Menhir Belubus site as a medium for learning history include students being more motivated to learn, students being more active in participating in learning, learning becoming more fun, learning activities more communicative, then balancing the achievement of knowledge, attitudes and skills. The disadvantages include limited time for implementation, and the students' concentration being easily disturbed while on site.
