Inferioritas Tokoh Dalam Novel Tentang Kamu Karya Tere Liye

Abstract:
This research aims to describe the form, causes and consequences of the feelings of inferiority experienced by the characters in the novel Tentang Kamu by Tere Liye. This type of research is qualitative research which is based on narration and description. Data collection was carried out using reading and note-taking techniques. The data analysis technique used in this research is repeated reading of the contents of the novel, condensing the data, analyzing and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the research, it shows that of all the characters in the novel Selamat Kamu by Tere Liye, there are several characters who experience feelings of inferiority. In this research, forms of inferiority were found in the form of psychological inferiority and physical inferiority, and there were characters who experienced forms of psychological inferiority and physical inferiority at the same time. The causes of inferiority are unexpected circumstances and neglected lifestyles. And the result of feelings of inferiority is that the character is able to compensate.
