Implementasi Supervisi Akademik Dalam Kebijakan Merdeka Belajar Di SD Negeri 004 Sungai Piring Kecamatan Batang Tuaka
SUMMARY
This research was conducted at SD Negeri 004 Sungai Piring, Batang Tuaka District, Indragiri Hilir Regency. The main reason for this research is that the principal has not been maximized in planning, implementing, evaluating, and following up on academic supervision at SD Negeri 004 Sungai Piring. Another reason is that teachers have not been able to maximize the flow of learning objectives, teaching modules, and other teaching tools.
According to Mulyadi (2015) implementation refers to actions to achieve the objectives set out in a decision. In line with this understanding, Glickman quoted by Jamal states that "academic supervision is a series of activities that can assist teachers in developing their ability to manage the learning process for the achievement of learning objectives". Thus it can be concluded that academic supervision is actions taken to achieve the goal of improving the quality of learning through the application of appropriate supervision techniques and approaches given to teachers.
This research uses qualitative methods. Through documentation, observation and interviews with research subjects, namely 11 research respondents consisting of 11 respondents with 1 principal, 6 class teachers, 3 subject teachers, and 1 education staff.
This research resulted in 4 series of academic supervision actions consisting of academic supervision planning, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up of academic supervision. Planning is carried out with meetings, preparation of supervision schedules, selection of approaches and techniques of academic supervision. In the implementation, there were classroom observations and dialog at the end of the implementation session. Evaluation is carried out by holding an evaluation meeting, conveying what is already good from the teacher's learning practice and what needs to be improved in the future. This is followed by discussion and questions and answers. In the follow-up stage, there are teachers who share their good learning practices in the learning community at SD Negeri 004 Sungai Piring.
