Kesalahan Penggunaan Tanda Baca Pada Teks Deskriptif Siswa Kelas X MA Darul Hikmah

ABSTRACT
The research entitled Misuse of Punctuation in Descriptive Text for Class X students of
MA Darul Hikmah is a qualitative research. The data used in this study are primary data
and secondary data. The primary data source that will be taken in this study is data
obtained based on the provisions of EYD V on writing descriptive texts by students of
class X 21 MA Darul Hikmah, totaling 22 texts, while the secondary data used in this
research is in the form of literature studies, journals, theses, literature related to the
problem, and information taken via the Internet or from the MA Darul Hikmah School.
The data collection technique in this study was to use the results of writing descriptive
text tests in the form of documents. The instrument used in this research is test. The
results of this study can be concluded that there is an error in the use of punctuation
marks in the descriptive text of class X MA Darul Hikmah students, 35 cases of errors
were obtained.
