Pengaruh Media Gambar Terhadap Kemampuan Menulis Teks Cerita Inspiratif Siswa Kelas IX Di SMPN 1 Benai
Abstract:
This research aims to determine the extent of the influence of image media on the ability to write inspirational story texts for class IX students at SMPN 1 Benai. The type of research is experimental. The sample in this research was 48 students. Class IX C students are taught using image media and class IX B students are taught using a conventional model without using image media. The instrument used is a test. Data analysis techniques use normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis tests. The test results for the two samples were normally distributed and homogeneous, thus the researcher gave treatment to both samples. The results of data analysis showed that the average learning outcome for students who were given image media was 82.43 and the average learning outcome for students who were given a conventional learning model without using image media was 73.96. Hypothesis testing obtained a significance value (2 tailed) 0.00 < 0.05, meaning that H0 was rejected, and H1 was accepted. The results of the regression test calculations show that the influence of image media on students' ability to write inspirational story texts is 30%. These results mean that there are influences and differences from the implementation of image media on students' ability to write inspirational story texts positively.
