Komunikasi Pemasaran Terpadu PT Telkomsel Region Sumbagteng Dalam Upaya Meningkatkan Konsumen Indihome
ABSTRACT
PT Telkomsel is an Indonesian Digital Telecommunication Company and is a subsidiary of PT. Telkom Indonesia is also a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) company. One of Telkomsel's very popular products is the Wi-Fi provider IndiHome. IndiHome is a digital service that offers Triple Play consisting of Home Internet (Fixed Broadband Internet), Home Telephone (Fixed Phone), and Interactive TV (IndiHome TV). indiHome is also one of Telkomsel's products that gets the biggest profits. Currently, many companies from other competitors are releasing new provider products as competitors in the business sector. The role of integrated marketing communications is a requirement that must be carried out in order to maximize profits and increase consumer loyalty towards indiHome products.
The research approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with a descriptive study. The location of this research was carried out directly at the PT office. Telkomsel Sumbagteng Region, precisely on Jl. Jendral Sudirman No.199, Sumahilang District, Pekanbaru City. The research subject was the IndiHome marketing tim which was selected using purposive techniques. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique uses interactive Miles and Huberman. Meanwhile, the technique for checking data validity is by extending observations, increasing persistence and triangulating sources.
The research results show that the integrated marketing communication activities carried out by PT Telkomsel Region Sumbagteng in an effort to increase the number of indiHome consumers are very diverse. Integrated marketing communications are implemented in line with the communication mix concept such as Advertising, Sales Promotion, Public Relations, Personal Selling and Direct Marketing. Integrated marketing communication activities are carried out such as advertising through various media, sales promotions through open booths, public relations through partnerships with several vendors, personal sales through door to door activities to potential consumers' homes in the form of marketing their products as well as direct marketing via WhatsApp, e-mail and other. indiHome's Integrated Marketing Communication shows satisfactory success due to the increase in the number of indiHome consumers from 2018 to 2023, increasing by 12% in Pekanbaru City.
