Persepsi Dan Tingkat Ketergantungan Masyarakat Ke Hutan Adat Ghimbo Pomuan Bonca Lida
This study aims to determine the perception and level of community dependence on the Ghimbo Pomuan Bonca Lida Indigenous Forest. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a survey method using a questionnaire distributed to 97 respondents in two villages around the customary forest, Koto Perambahan Village and Kampar Village using purposive sampling technique. Samples were taken based on the criteria: (1) the radius of community residence is a maximum of ± 2 km from the research location, (2) representing each Family Card (KK), (3) physically and mentally healthy, and (4) the age of the respondent is at least 17 years old. The Likert Scale method was used to answer the research objectives. The results showed that the community's perception of the Ghimbo Pomuan Bonca Lida Indigenous Forest was in the medium or neutral category with a percentage of 56.70% respondents. Factors that influence community perceptions are the views of each individual on the benefits and functions of different indigenous forests and the differences in activities that the community does to fulfill their daily needs. The level of community dependence on the Ghimbo Pomuan Bonca Lida Indigenous Forest is known to be in the low category with a percentage of 81.44%. Factors that influence this are the community's occupations, which are generally farmers and self-employed. It is also influenced by applicable indigenous rules, individual knowledge and understanding of forest resource management, and the location of settlements close to the highway which is a crossing road.
