Analisis Pengaruh Penambahan Limbah Beton Sebagai Material Tambahan Pada Sistem Pentanahan
The grounding system is a part of the protection applied to the electric power system, which aims to protect the electric power system and humans from fault currents by channeling it to the ground. The ideal grounding system has a small grounding resistance value. However, in reality in the field it is not easy to obtain a small grounding resistance value, because it is influenced by the nature and characteristics of the soil itself. In this research, a method has been carried out to reduce the value of grounding resistance by utilizing material in the form of concrete waste. Tests were carried out on types of clay using rod electrodes. The results were obtained by varying the concrete waste and soil 1:1 by layering, and 1:1 by mixing. The results obtained from these two holes were that after adding concrete waste to the first grounding hole, the grounding resistance value fell to 530.4 Ω from the previous 596.6 Ω. Second hole, the ground resistance value drops to 233.6 Ω from the previous 294.6 Ω. The percentage reduction in soil resistance by layering was 11.09%, while the reduction in soil resistance by mixing was 20.70%.
