Analisis Perancangan 4G BTS Hotel pada Kawasan Perumahan Griya Bina Widya

In this modern era, it cannot be denied that cellular networks are needed as a medium for exchanging information. However, despite these needs, there is still a lack of technological infrastructure. One of the areas where the cellular network is not yet optimal is the Griya Bina Widya housing complex which is located in the city of Pekanbaru, Riau province. Therefore, it is necessary to design new BTS as an improvement in telecommunications infrastructure. Hotel BTS will be used in this research as an answer to limited land for the construction of new Conventional BTS and will be simulated in Atoll software. In this research, 3 main design stages will be carried out, namely the existing site network, capacity planning calculations and coverage planning calculations. After research, it appears that there is a need for 7 new eNodeBs or BTS Hotels with a cell coverage area of 0.03 km2/cell and a cell radius of 0.076 km so that the network quality in residential areas is more optimal. Then based on signal quality values such as EIRP, it is found to be 58 dBm, RSCP -76.85 dBm, and RSRP value -60.21 dBm which shows that the lift is at a good level. Then, in terms of the Atoll simulation, it shows that the coverage level of the new BTS Hotel design in the Griya Bina Widya housing complex is in a very good zone.
