Efektivitas Penggunaan Media Komik Dalam Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Mata Pelajaran IPS Di SMP Negeri 1 Ujung Batu Kabupaten Rokan Hulu

The purpose of this study was to see the difference in learning outcomes by using comic media in social studies subjects at SMP Negeri 1 Ujung Batu, Rokan Hulu Regency with class IX 5 students as many as 28 students as a sample determined based on purposive sampling technique. This study uses a type of quantitative research with experimental research methods. Data collected using test question instruments and analyzed with the T test and N-Gain test. The results obtained by the cognitive level are 0.000 < α 0.05, so it can be concluded that there is an effect of using comic media on the learning outcomes of students in class IX 5 at SMP Negeri 1 Ujung Batu. The N-Gain test obtained a mean value of 0.4323 which when viewed from the interpretation of the N-Gain value is in the moderate category, so it can be concluded that the use of comic learning media is effective enough to improve student learning outcomes.
